Connect the phone cord from the back of the 2wire dsl.

Connect the cable of the phone or other device sharing this jack to the port labeled phone. I would like to remove it from the phone. Unplug the existing phone cable from the wall jack. Filter into the wall jack and mount the filter on the wall plate.

Fit the filter on top of the wall jack and lock the clips into place by pushing them in. Remove the phone from the wall jack by lifting it off the wall pegs. This is a filter i added to the wall mount when i added dsl. Please follow these steps for its installation.

Plug the data cable from your modem into the filter port labeled dsl. Then i mounted the wall phone to it. Mount the filter on the wall plate pegs. Front of the mounted 2wire dsl filter.

Phone cord from the wall jack. It is now off the wall but attached to the phone. Plug a dual port filter into the wall jack. If you have a telephone that hangs on the wall connect it to the filter as shown below the filter connects to your wall jack like this if you only have one phone jack for your wall mounted phone there is a dsl port on the left side of the filter that will allow you to use the same jack for both the telephone and dsl modem router see below.

Plug the phone cord from the wall mount filter into the wall jack. Easily installs over existing wall phone jack. Plug the existing phone cable from your telephone.
