Vw Golf Driver Door Wont Lock

Vw golf driver door wont lock.

Problem progressed to display saying driver s door open and leaving the dome light on and display with the drivers door icon lit up. This video shows why your vw door will not open and what to do about it. Locks work from the switch but not the remote. When this light is on the car doesn t lock.

Drivers door won t lock using key fob posted in performance and technical. Some other details passenger door can be opened with the door handle just fine the door lock switch seems to work fine as it will lock the other 3 doors. There is life in the battery in the key fob. The light on the door switch no longer lights up.

I can lock the drivers door with my key but the other doors cannot be locked. This issue also indicates a bad lock actuator. The door lock works in only one direction. No where will you find this information on the web.

If your early to mid 200 s audi or vw is gabbing problems with either side door electrical locks windows or anything electrical start by looking here. If i lock then car using key fob and open the door the alarm goes off.

All doors lock with the fob or door switch except passenger door. The filler cap release button in the cockpit doesn t work either. If this happens the problem is with the remote. Occasionally wouldn t unlock wouldn t lock.

Key inserted into door would work. The drivers door won t lock using the key fob but if i use the blade it will lock fine. Believe me i looked for days wh.
